Question :-

Prove that

 \frac{1 -  \sin {}^{2} (x) }{ \cos {}^{2} (x) }  = 1

Solution :-

Take LHS

 \frac{1 -  \sin {}^{2} (x) }{  \cos {}^{2} (x) }

As,

1 -  \sin {}^{2} (x)  =  \cos {}^{2} (x)

Hence,

 \frac{ \cos {}^{2}(x ) }{ { \cos {}^{2} (x) }^{} }  = 1 \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    1 = 1

LHS =RHS - - - (PROVED)
