THIS ONE IS REALLY HARD the length of a rectangle exceeds its width by 8 cm and the area of the rectangle is 240 sq. km. find the dimensions of the rectangle.

Let width of a rectangle be (x)cm. Given, Area of rectangle=240sq. km.=240000000000sq. cm. Length of rectangle=(x+8)cm. Area of rectangle=length*breadth 240000000000=(x+8)*x, x^2+8x-240000000000 Factorize it and then find the value if x. Negative x is wrong answer whereas positive x is right answer because there can never be negative measures. Hence x= positive value
