A Trip to Paris
Paris, the capital city of France, is noted for its loveliness, its museums,
its art galleries and its nightlife. Everywhere you travel in Paris, you will
find something of beauty, such as the bridges that span the River Seine.
The waters of the Seine divide the city into two--the left bank and the
right bank
if you visit Poris vou will want to see some of its most famous
landmarks. The cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the most attractive of
the French buildings, is situated in the centre of the city--the river island
of lle de la Cité. The Eiffel Tower, another monument of great appeal,
dominates the skyline at Champs de Mars, while the Louvre, once a
royal palace, has a huge glass prism in its courtyard. The Mona Lisa,
Leonardo da Vinci's most famous painting, is housed in the Louvre.
While these are all very beautiful, my most favourite place in the whole
of Paris is a white church, the Sacre Coeur, situated on a hill behind the
Louvre.​
