The poet wishes her lover to not love her just out of pity, that makes him wipe her tears (cheeks dry).  In the next lines, she refers to herself as just a ‘creature’ among the many others created by God on this Earth. She says that being loved out of pity and her tears being wiped away by her lover might enable her to not have any more reasons to cry, having the lover's comfort in her life. But in the same way the lover would not have a reason to love her anymore as his love was only out of pity. And hence, she would eventually lose him too.

Hope I helped!
