The bishop means that goodness dwells in every human's heart.We are created by God and God resides in every human's body, just the need is to recognise it.He means to say that as the church is open at all times for the needy, he is also ready to lend a helping hand to him.With a little bit of kindness, love and forgiveness, one can perceive God amongst humans. The bishop's kindness saved the convict from going to hell again. This single act of of kindness awakened the God within him.
