IF THE SUN IS IN THE SPACE... WHY IS THERE IS LIGHT ON THE EARTH BUT NOT IN SPACE??

our sky is bright during daytime because our atmosphere scatter the sunlight in all direction so we see a bright surrounding but in space there is no atmosphere to scatter the sunlight and the the space is a vacuum so the sunlight reach the earth as transverse waves

There is light on the earth but not in space because the blue colour of the sky is a result of this scattering Process. At night when that part of earth is facing away from the sun, space looks like black because there is no nearby bright source of light, like the sun to be scattered.
