synaptic vesicles

  • these are modified lysosomes and consists of neuro-transmitters
  • these vesicles help in the passage of the stimulus from one neuron to another by giving a stimulus of the same degree to the other neuron

neuro-transmitters are chemicals which fall from one neuron to the dendrites of the other neuron.

between these 2 units there is a space of 200nm. this space creates a problem for the nerve impulse to carry onn it's journey thus over here the seminal vesicles burst up releasing the neuro transmitters to the receptors

now the neuro transmitter will act as a stimulus for the receptor and thus the nerve impulse will be carried on further by this method
