Physics is a very important subject, not only for board exams, but also for the competitive exams. You should regularly read and practice physics, from your school textbook (Eg: NCERT). You need to make a good balance between numerical problems and definitions or theoretical problems.
Improve your basic skills of maths to solve the numerical problems. Usually these problems are simple, but are given in a different manner; so, do not get afraid while reading the long numerical problems.
Do not forget to practice sample papers and previous years' papers. They will give you a clear idea about how to approach the topics and also about time management. Derivations should include a small introduction, all mathematical steps and the final result.
You can prepare short notes of important derivations, and practice diagrams (circuit, device, etc.) and graphs with proper labelling.
Marks can be deducted even for small errors of SI units and other details; so be careful and attentive while solving the paper.
Time management in solving the Physics paper is an another important task to practice, under the pressure of less time you will not be able to solve even simple and easy problems. So, keep your pace from the beginning.
You can begin your paper with long and short answers and prefer numerical over theoretical questions.
Nowadays, application oriented and experimental based questions are very important in the examination. So, the students must have a clear understanding about it.
Analysis of theory and practicals can give you an advantage. Begin the paper with section E and then attempt Section C.
For section E, in the first 15 minutes, mark the questions that you are going to attempt. Topics to be covered in this section are Electrostatics, Magnetic effect of current, optics and E.M.I +AC. The time required for this section is approximately 40 minutes. Similarly, for section C, the time required is one hour 15 minutes, while section D, which is the easiest part, requires 5-10 minutes. Sections A and B combined require 50-55 minutes.
Stay positive during this entire time leading up to your exams and do some relaxation exercises like jogging, meditation etc. Plan your revision and do not deviate from it in any condition. It will surely bring success in coming exams.
