   This question is a value based question. It is derived from the story "A Shady Plot". However, the answer is not necessarily related to the story. I am supposed to tell the source of (derivation of) my inspiration. 

   Like the write of the story was looking for inspiration to write stories. But he couldn't succeed. Then ghosts organized "The writer's Inspiration Bureau", so that the writers get inspired.

      Everyone requires inspiration to achieve something. One needs inspiration for studying more, achieving more marks, playing well, following discipline at home, arranging one's things in one's room, to be skillful in drawing pictures and painting, to maintain neatness in handwriting, and to perform mathematics without mistakes and a need to erase (or strike off) frequently.

    I too need inspiration. I like mathematics (science/Biology). I like to secure 98% and above. I like to be appreciated for my effort. I derive inspiration to perform better from the attention and appreciation.  When I am a little low, I eat a sweet chocolate. I walk a little up and down in the garden.  I think of very sweet experience that I had in my life.  I imagine beautiful things and sweet experiences.  I imagine the applauses that people give me when I do very well. These give me inspiration.

    Often I try to learn some facts and things that I don't know yet. I take it as a challenge to learn what I don't know and solve the problems in front of me. The pleasure and satisfaction of achievement of achieving a new challenge is the inspiration for me.

    While playing games, I take the challenge to face a difficulty and perform better than before. I think faster, but cautiously and carefully to beat my opposition. Thus the presence of challenge inspires me.

    I wish to be famous, learned, well achieved and rich.  The goal of my life that I set for myself, is the one that inspires me.

    I get inspired also by the smooth and soft words of my mother and encouraging words of my father.  On hearing them I renew my energies and wipe off my occasional disappointments.  I wish to bounce back with higher performance, after being sidelined or laughed at by my elder sister/brother. That makes me very determined to achieve something. So I complete what I set to achieve and then show that to them. Then they can not write me off for anything.
