2. A copper vessel when exposed to moist air for long acquires a dull green coating.

The green material is a mixture of copper hydroxide [Cu(OH)2] and copper carbonate (CuC03) formed due to the reaction of copper with moist air.

3. Sodium metal is kept stored in kerosene.

Sodium is highly reactive metal. It reacts with oxygen present in the air to produce Na oxide at room temperature. The density of Na is higher than that of kerosene and it doesn't react with kerosene. Hence, we can store sodium in kerosene.

4. Phosphorus is kept stored in water .

It is kept submerged in water because it is a highly reactive metal and when it is exposed to air it autoignition as its ignition temperature is low. When exposed to air, it is oxidized rapidly to phosphorus pentoxide.

5. Gold and silver are used for making jewellery

They are highly lustrous metals which are resistant to corrosion. They are highly malleable and ductile so can be transformed into any shape or design.

6. Copper is used in Electrical Wiring.

The lower the level of resistivity, the more electrical conductivity a metal has. Copper has low resistivity, and therefore is an excellent conductor. Copper is also less oxidative than other metals.
