Hey mate
Here is your answer :--
Let the amount possessed by Sagar be x
so the amount possessed by Mukund is x+50
According to given condition :-
(x ) (x+50) = 15000
x² + 50x - 15000 =0
x² -100x+150x - 15000= 0
x(x-100) + 150 (x-100) =0
(x-100)(x+150) =0
(x-100) =0. or. (x+150)= 0
x = 100. or. x= -150
But x can't be -150 as the amount can't be negative
so x = 100
Amount possessed by Sagar is x = rs 100
Amount possessed by Mukund is x+50= 100+50= rs 150
Final answer :-
Amount possessed by Sagar is Rs100
and amount possessed by Mukund is Rs 150.
Hope this help you mate and if helpful mark as brainliest Peace out

Let the amount Sagar possesses be : S
Given : Mukund possesses ₹ 50 more than what Sagar possesses
Amount possessed by Mukund = S + 50
Given : Product of amount they have is ₹ 15000
S(S + 50) = 15000
S² + 50S - 15000 = 0
S² + 150S - 100S - 15000 = 0
S(S + 150) - 100(S + 150) = 0
(S - 100)(S + 150) = 0
S = 100 (or) S = -150
As amount cannot be Negative ⇒ S ≠ -150
S = 100
Amount possessed by Sagar is ₹ 100
Amount possessed by Mukund is ₹ 150
