Answer: Indian Premier League.

Explanation:

Indian Premier League is a Twenty 20 cricket competition which is annually held in India. It has become an important tournament around which the rest of international commitment is scheduled.

The league was kicked off  by the Board of Control for Cricket in India in the year 2008. It is usually held every year during the month of March or April and May. The league became the first ever sporting event to be broadcast  live on YouTube.

The owners for the league was decided on the basis of an auction which was held on 24 January 2008. The eight teams involved in the league were based on the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mohali, and Mumbai. Each teams would play against each other twice, once in home ground and then on away basis in a round-robin format.

At the end of the round robin league, the top four teams would qualify for the playoffs. The team which occupies the first and second position on the points table play against each other during the first Qualifying match. The winner of the first Qualifier directly makes an entry to the final while the loser gets a chance to play the winner of the match between the third and fourth team on the table, which is referred as the second Qualifying match.

Hope this helps.
