Dr Sadao's father was a typical hardworking Japanese man who loved his culture. He had taught Sadao from his childhood the value of being serious about his career. He had often taken Sadao to islands in the South Sea where the hardworking Japanese people were busy building Japanese economy through industry. Sadao's father would often tell Sadao about the contribution of those islands in making Japan a progressive country in the future.
