Amoeba is a protozoa, which is a eukaryote, which is "an organism whose cells contain complex structures enclosed within membranes." I gather this means bacteria, being prokaryotic and so lacking membrane-enclosed organelles, are simpler organisms because they don't have their own internal structure or something exclusive of the outside environment.

Though bacteria and amoeba are unicellular but they are different from each other due to the following main differences :

1. Amoeba is a " Eukaryote " whereas bacteria is an " Prokaryote ".

2. Amoeba belongs to a kingdom named " Protesta " whereas bacteria belongs to a kingdom called " Monera ".

HOPE IT HELPED.. :))
