Though same current flows through the electric line wires and the bulb filament, yet only the filament of bulb glows. Give the reason behind it.

Because filament is made of tungsten wire which provides high resistance and this effect is called heating effect of electric current. It heats and glows

the electric bulb filament is too thin and too long hence it's resistance is much high. so produced heat is enormous and energy released in the light form
