Though the compounds such as glucose and alcohol have hydrogen
atoms in their molecule, yet they are not categorized as acids. Why?​

Answer:

Acid is something that release hydrogen ions in its aqueous solution.

But when glucose or alcohol are dissolved in water they don't dissociate into ions as they are non polar.
