Answer:

  • The earth core is 3500 kms depth still it shields the earth surface because it is a outer core of earth and it generates magnetic files that protects us from the harmful solar wind of the sun.
  • Earth consists of one huge strong rock, but it really consists of several components. Some of them are moving continuously. And it consists of four parts they are Crust , mantle, inner core and outer core.
  1. Crust- The crust is the Earth's thin surface layer where we live.
  2. Mantle – It is a second layer of earth. At nearly 3000 km deep, the earth is much thicker than the crust.
  3. Outer core - It generates a magnetic field, it is very essential to earth. The magnetic field created by the outer core extends out into space and produces a protective barrier around the earth that protects us from the harmful solar wind of the sun.
  4. Inner core - Within the earth, the inner core is so deep that it is under enormous stress. So much pressure it's solid, even if it's so hot. The internal core is the hottest portion of the Earth and is about as warm as the sun's surface at more than 5000 degrees Celsius.
