given diameter of outer circle = 34cm
therefore it's radius = 34/2
= 17cm
diameter of inner circle = 32cm
therefore it's radius = 32/2
= 16cm
area of larger circle = πr²
= 22/7 × 17 × 17
= 6358/7cm²
area of smaller circle = πr²
= 22/7 × 16 × 16.
= 5632cm²
the area between these two circles is the area of the ring.
therefore area of the ring = 6358/7 - 5632/7
= 726/7
= 103.71cm² (approximately)
