HELLO FRIENDS ,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Stone age is divided into three broad divisions - the Paleolithic Age , the Mesolithic Age and the Neolithic Age .

* The Paleolithic Age (Old Stone Age) -
Paleolithic men were hunters and food gatherers . Paleolithic culture of India was developed in the pleistocene period or Ice age .It was seem that paleolithic men belonged to the Negrito race . The Homo Sapiens first appeared in the last of this phase.

* The Mesolithic Age (Middle Stone Age)-
It is basically seems as transitional phase between Paleolithic Age and Neolithic Age . In this age climate became warm and dry more , which brought about changes in fauna and flora and made it possible for the human to move to new areas .The people of this age practicised painting .

* The Neolithic Age  (New Stone Age)
The people of this age used tools and implements of polished stones . They mainly used stone axes .Hand made pottery and uses of potter wheel was first appears during this age.The people of this age were the earliest farming communities . They also wove cotton and wool to make clothes .
