Three blocks A,B and C are placed on one another on ground. Mass of A ,B and C are m1 ,m2 and m3 respectively. The force exerted by block C on B is.

Given that mass of A, B and C are :

M₁, M₂ and M₃ respectively.

Force = Mg

Where g is the gravitational acceleration.

The force acting on C is :

(m₁ + m₂) g

According to Newton's third law of motion, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Therefore the force exerted by C on B is :

(m₁ + m₂) g
