3C + 2T = 1850  ---- (i)

5C + 3T = 2850 ------ (ii)

Multiply (ii) by 2 and (i) by 3 and then subtract (i) from (ii)

10C + 6T =   5700

9C + 6T =    5550

=> C = 150

Substitute value of C in any one equation to get T.

3 * 150 + 2T = 1850

=> 2T = 1850 - 450

=> 2T = 1400

=> T = 700.

Thus cost of 1 Table and 1 Chair = 700 + 150 = 850.
