Given  : Three coins are tossed simultaneously 50 times with the following frequency of different outcomes

To Find  : probability of getting

1.atleast one tail

2. 3heads

3.more than 2 tails

4. 3tails

Solution:

Outcomes of Tails         Frequency

0                                            7

1                                             18

2                                           20

3                                            5

                   Total                  50

probability of getting 1 atleast one tail   ( total - no tail)

=  (50 - 7)/50

= 43/50

= 0.86

probability of getting 3heads    - 3Heads means No Tails

= 7/50

= 0.14

probability of getting  more than 2 tails  =   ( 2tails or 3 Tails)

= (20 + 5)/50

= 25/50

= 1/2

= 0.5

probability of getting  3 Tails

=  5/50

= 1/10

= 0.1
