total water in b and c container=b/3 + c/2
now,
Water in a container is= a-(b/3 + c/2)
Ans is- (6a-2b+3c)/6

Given :

The volume of container a = a cubic unit

The volume of container b = b cubic unit

The volume of container b = b cubic unit

To Find :

Quantity of water left in container a

Solution :

The container a is poured full with water

As The volume of container a = a cubic unit

So, The quantity of water in container a = a cubic unit

Now,

\dfrac{1}{3} rd of water from container a poured into container b

And \dfrac{1}{2} of water from container a poured into container c

So, Total quantity of water in both b and c  container =  \dfrac{b}{3}  + \dfrac{c}{2}

                                                                                         = \dfrac{2b+ 3c}{6}

Now, Quantity of water left in container a = initial quantity of water in a - sum of quantity of water removed

So,  Quantity of water left in container a = a - ( \dfrac{2b+ 3c}{6} )

                                                                  = \dfrac{6 a -2b - 3c}{6}

Hence, The Quantity of water left in container a is  \dfrac{6 a -2b - 3c}{6} Answer
