vol of cubes = 3^3 + 4^3 + 5^3

= 27 + 64 + 125

= 216

side = 3√216

Answer: The side of the new cube is 6 cm in length.

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cube = a³

Side of cube 1 = 3 cm

Volume of cube 1 = 3³ cm³

:.Volume of cube 1 = 27 cm³

Side of cube 2 = 4 cm

Volume of cube 2 = 4³ cm³

:.Volume of cube 2 = 64 cm³

Side of cube 3 = 5 cm

Volume of cube 3 = 5³ cm³

:.Volume of cube 3 = 125 cm³

Volume of the new cube = (27 + 64 + 125) cm³

:.Volume of the new cube = 216 cm³

a³ = 216

a = ∛216

:. a = 6 cm

Thus , the side of the new cube is 6 cm in length.
