Acute : 1) An acute disease lasts for just a short time but can begin rapidly and have intense symptoms.
2) It develops in a short time.
3) Examples of acute disease are Cold, influenza, Cholera, Typhoid, strep throat, cough, etc.
Chronic : 1) A chronic disease is persistent. It lasts for a long period of time and might recur.
2) It develops over time instead of having a sudden onset.
