Percentage of water in final solution = 12%

Let 2y, 3y and 4y solution with 10 %, 20% and x% water respectively are mixed together

2y+ 3y + 4y = 9y = M

Mass of water in final solution:

2y\times \frac{10}{100}+3y\times \frac{20}{100}+4y\times \frac{x}{100}=9y\times \frac{12}{100}

0.2y+0.6y+0.04yx=1.08y

0.04xy=0.28y

x=7

The value of the x is 7%.
