there was a controversy regarding certain organisms which couldnot be efficiently grouped under Carrolus Linnaeus's 2 kingdom classification. these were as follows:
●bacteria and fungi are plants but they do not have chlorophyll and do not carry out photo8.
●single celled animals like euglena have chloroplasts like plants and mouth like animals and contractile vacuoles for excretion.
●bread mould are multicrllular but they have a thallus like undifferentiated body and no chlorophyll.
