The order of their basic nature is X>Z>Y.
- The element X has an atomic number 11 so, it is Na.
- The element Y has an atomic number 7 so, it is N.
- The element Z has an atomic number 6 so, it is C.
- Again when we move from Na to C to N the metallic character decreases and the basic character also decreases.
- Thus the oxide of Na will be more basic than the oxide of C and than the oxide of N.
- The order of basicity of the oxides is as follows-
- X>Z>Y
