Three essential conditions for work done by a force acting on an object are :
1: A finite force(non zero) must act on the body. The force will do the work on the object .No force means no work done.
2.The object must be displaced in direction of action of the force. This is a necessary condition.
3.Angle between the force and displacement should be non zero for work to be done on the object.
