Three friends divided bullets from bag equally.After each of them shot 4 bullets,the total number of bullets remaining with them,is equal to 1/3 of total bullets.Find the original number of total bullets.

we have 1/3 of 2/3 of x =4
therefore x=18
Hence total no of bullets is 18
therefore x=18
Hence total no of bullets is 18
