let three geometric mean between 3 and 48 be A1,A2,A3
3,A1,A2,A3,48
48=3r⁴
r⁴=16
r=2
A1=3×2=6
A2=3×2²=3×4=12
A3=3×2³=8×3=24
therefore three geometric means are 6,12,24.
