Three geysers have capacities of 12 litres, 84 litres and 120 litres. The water from
each geyser was taken out into a bucket and poured away. If each geyser filled the
bucket exact number of times, what is the maximum capacity of the bucket?

Answer:

1 bucket maxiMUM caPACITY is 18 litres

Step-by-step explanation:

given each geyser filled the bucket exact number of times

so lets take 1 litre from 12 litres geyser

it will be poured away for 12 times

1*12=12

then,

from 84 litres geyser how much water to be poured out so that it will be made for 12 times is 7 litres

SO that 7*12=84

now same applied with 120 litres geyser

10*12=120

our aim is to draw water from every geyser exact number of times it, 12 here

so 1 bucket maximun caPACITY is 1+7+10=18 litres bucket
