Three phase 50Hz

To Find:

The power consumed by the load

Solution:

Zph = √(20² + 20²) = 20√2 = 28.3Ω

Vph = 415/√3 = 239.6 V

Iph = 239.6/28.3 = 8.46A

IL = 8.46A

cos∅ = Rph/Zph = 20/28.3 = 0.707

Power consumed by the load = √3VIcoss∅

= √3 * 415 * 8.46 * 0.707

= 4299 Watts

Therefore, the power consumed by the load is 4299 Watts.
