Three liquids are given to you. one is Hydroxide acids, another is sodium hydroxide and third is sugar solution. How will identify matter of the solution? Explain in points

We will identify it with the help of litmus paper dipping in each solution one by one.

Explanation:

(i) We know that hydroxide acid is acidic in nature, sodium hydroxide is basic in nature & Sugar solution is neutral.

(ii) First we dip the litmus paper in container A.

(iii) If the colour of the litmus paper become blue means it is sodium hydroxide solution .

(iv) Now dip the litmus paper in solution B.

(v) If if the colour of the litmus paper become red means that the solution is hydroxide acid solution.

(vi) So, the remaining solution is sugar solution.
