this my personal analysis:
a gravitational potential is the ability of gravitational field at a given point in space to attract a body ... now since gravitational field at centroid of eqilateral triangle is zero ( reason: on vector addition of the three independet forces because of the point masses we get resultant as a zero vector) there is no resultant vector or resultant force acting at the centroid... hence the gravitational potential is also zero... at this point in this kind of space a person may feel weightless...
