Your answer is 14, with values as 21:14:35.

savitha: How 14 Can u explain it...
SamiCool: Hi dear, here is your answer
SamiCool: Let the numbers be 3x, 2x and 5x.
Then,
9x + 4x + 25x =1862
⇒ 38x = 1862
⇒ x = 49 ⇒ x = 7.
middle number = 2x = 14.
savitha: thank you...

let the nos. be 3x, 2x, 5x (as they are in ratio)
their square will be:  9x², 4x², 25x²

now according to the ques,

9x²+4x²+25x²=1862

38x²=1862

x²= 49

x=√49

x = 7 Ans.
