Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Three numbers are in the ratio 2:5:7. Their LCM is 490 .

To find:-

Find the square root of the largest number.?

Solution:-

Given that

The ratio of three numbers = 2:5:7

Let they be 2X,5X and 7X

2X = 2×X

5X = 5×X

7X = 7×X

LCM of 2X , 5X and 7X = 2×5×7 ×X = 70X

According to the given problem

LCM of the given numbers = 490

=> 70X = 490

=> X = 490/70

=> X = 7

Now,

2X = 2×7 = 14

5X = 5×X = 5×7 = 35

7X = 7×7 = 49

The three numbers = 14,35,49

The largest number = 49

Answer:-

The largest number for the given problem is 49

Check:-

The three numbers = 14,35,49

Thier ratio = 14:35:49 = 2:5:7

Their LCM

14=2×7

35=5×7

49=7×7

LCM = 2×5×7×7 = 490

Verified the given relations.
