Given,

Ratio of numbers = 4:5:6

Let the common multiple of numbers be x

So , numbers will be 4x, 5x , 6x respectively)

According to question,

Sum of numbers = 135

4x + 5x + 6x = 135

15x = 135

x =9

  \text{Numbers  will be}  \\ \\ 4x = 4\times 9 = 36 \\ \\ 5x = 5\times 9 = 45 \\ \\ 6x = 6\times 9 = 54

Heya!!

Thanks for asking the question .

Here is your answer :

Given,

Three no.s are in the ratio 4:5:6, and
their sum = 135

Step I : Take a common factor x to remove the ratio sign between them.

Step II : Write down the no.s

The no.s will be -
1. 4x
2. 5x
3. 6x

Step III : Frame a linear equation in one variable x using the given information in the question .

4x + 5x + 6x = 135

Step IV : Solve the linear equation for x using transposition.

15x = 135

Now transposing 15 to RHS, we get :

x = 135/15

x = 9

Step V : Using the value of x write down the three no.s

4x = 4 × 9 = 36

5x = 5×9 = 45

6x = 6×9 = 54

Hope it helps you :)
