Let the numbers be 3x, 4x and 5x
Then, LCM of 3x,4x and 5x = 60x
So, 60x = 2400, x = 40
The numbers are (3 x 40), (4 x 40) and (5 x 40)
3 x 40 = 120
4 x 40 = 160
5 x 40 = 200
Now to get HCF,
120 = 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5
160 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5
200 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5
Taking only the common in all = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5
Hence our HCF = 40

See HCF is the Highest common factor which can divide all the numbers and we can see the number is 3x40, 4x40 and 5x40 so we cannot take anything common from 3,4 and 5 but 40 is common in all
