Three of the exterior angles of a hexagon are 40°,51°,86°.if each of the remaining exterior angles is x°,find the value of x.

Sum of the angles of the exterior angle =360°

As hexagon has 6 sides

therefore let the remaining angles be x°

The angles are 40°,51°,86°,x°,x°,x°

So,


40°+51°+86°+x°+x°+x°=360°
3x+177=360°
3x=360-177
3x=183
x= 183÷3
x= 61°

Therefore ,the value of x is 61°
