an equilateral triangle is a symmetrical shape. It is symmetrical about a point inside the triangle known as centroid. see figure, it is clearly shown triangle is symmetrical about centroid.
we know, in case of symmetrical shape , centre of mass lies on geometric symmetry. it means, if two line of symmetries cross a point then that point is centre of mass.
hence, in above condition, centroid is centre of mass.
