Answer:

Cost of paving the path = Rs. 14730

Cost of laying fresh grass = Rs. 1936 Ans.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the 1st path = 2 * 35 = 70m^2

Area of the 2nd path = 2 * 35 = 70m^2

Area of the 3rd path = 2 * 55 = 110m^2

From 1st and 2nd path we have to subtract the area of the squares in between which are cming in the thrid path.

i.e. Area of a square = 2*2 = 4m^2

Area of 2 squares = 4*2 = *m^2

Total Area = 70+70+110 - 8

= 250 - 8 = 242 m^2

Cost of paving the path = 242 * 65

= Rs. 14730 Ans.

Cost of laying fresh grass = 242 * 8

= Rs. 1936 Ans.
