It would take 20 days

Since 240 hrs is 10 days

If half day only 12 hrs perday

12 × 20 =240

12 days will need to finish the same job.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the total amount of work to be completed

Given : 3 workers can complete x work in 10 days

∴ Amount of work done by 1 worker in 1 day is,

\\ $ \text{Workdone} = $ \frac{\text{x}}{30}

If one worker can work only half day then amount of work done by him is,

$ \text{Total amount of work done} =  \frac{\text{x}}{30}  + \frac{\text{x}}{30} +  \frac{\text{x}}{60}

$ \text{Total amount of work done} =  \frac{\text{x}}{12}

Hence 12 days is required to finish the same job if one worker work only half day.
