  1. Difference between speed and velocity?

Ans: Speed is the rate of distance covered.

velocity is the rate of displacement covered.

Speed is scalar whereas velocity is the vector quantity.

2. How do you calculate the average velocity ?

Ans: Calculate v=(v+u)/2...

3. What is the formula for average velocity?

Ans: If the acceleration is instant ,the average velocity is same as the average of the final velocity and the initial velocity :(vf+vi)/2
