Definition of rational numbers :

The numbers which can be expressed in the form p/q where p and q both are integers with non - zero q, are called rational numbers.

Solution :

Given two numbers are 0 and (-3/4)

So, the rational numbers between them be

    = {0 + (-3/4)}/2 = (-3/4)/2 = -3/8 ,

{0 + (-3/8)}/2 = (-3/8)/2 = -3/16 and

{0 + (-3/16)}/2 = (-3/16)/2 = -3/32 .

How to get them?

Take the two rational numbers and find their sum. Then, divide them by 2 and you will get a rational number between them. Again, add that number to one of the given rational numbers and find the sum. Similarly you will get another rational number by dividing the sum by 2. Continuing in this process, we can get many rational numbers until the value will reach 0.
