Three resistors of 5 ohm 10 ohm and 15 ohm are connected in series in a circuit. If the potential difference across the 15 ohm resistor is 3v find the current in the circuit and potential difference across the 10 ohm resistor

Current=V/R
V=3 and R=15
therefore I=3/15
=0.2A
we know that same current flows in series combination.
Therefore p.d. across 10 ohm resistor will be
V=IR
0.2×10=2v
