Three steps taken by government of Sri Lanka to achieve majoritarianism we're:-
✓The act of 1956 was a major step for achieving majoritarianism.It included :-
1.It recognised Sinhala as the only official language disregarding Tamil.
2.It provided that state shall protect and foster Buddhism.
✓The government also gave more preffence to Sinhala applicants for state jobs and institutions.
✓Also government policies denied them their equal rights and ignored their interest.
