Three student's Priyanka, Saniya and David are protesting against killing innocent animals for commercial purposes in a circular park of radius 20cm. They are standing at equal distance on its boundary by holding banners in their hands
a) Find the distance between each of them?
b) Which mathematical concept is used in it?

Also, since all the three students are standing at equal distances from each other on the circumference of the circle , they'll form an equilateral triangle.

Now, suppose from the centre a perpendicular is dropped to side BC, then it'll also bisect it and this is the mathematical rule that we're gonna use

So, Suppose to the perpendicular to BC meets it at M.

By observing in ∆ OMB , we see that angle OBM is 30°

And hence ,

MB = 20 cos 30° = 10√3

And, so the distance between all three of them each will be 2(10√3) = 20√3 units
