answer is 72/27 hrs i.e 2.666
a one hour work is 1/6
b one hour work is 1/8
c one hour work is 1/12
so add all these and we get 27/72 and this one hour work of three taps opened at same Time
..reverse 27/72 I.e answer 2.666

work done by C in 1 hours=1/12
total time=1/6+1/8+1/12
=8/48+6/48+4/48
=18/48
=48/18
=2.667 hours
