A.T.Q. first equation,

3x + y = 33

=> y = 33 - 3x. ------------- [1]

A.T.Q. second equation,

x + 3y = 19

from equation [1]

x + 3(33-3x) = 19

=> x + 99 - 9x = 19

=> 99 - 8x = 19

=> 99 - 19 = 8x

=> 80 = 8x

=> x = 80/8

=> x = 10

Now , in equation [1]

y = 33 - 3x

y = 33 - 3(10)

=> y = 33 - 30

=> y = 3

therefore , the first no. is 10

and the second no. is 3
